“ Front of house service was very efficient and professional. Seated outside by a heater was prefect for a cold night out for dinner. Our waitor Tyus gave our menus within seconds of taking a seat, providing exceptional customer service and meeting our needs. Our entrees were fast, so didn't have to wait very long at all. I had a seafood chowder that was delish. My wife enjoyed the Finz Cob Load served with Garlic Butter and Olive Oil. She loved every slice. Then we enjoyed a Hot Choc With a Liquer (Baileys). We shared the “seafood platter” which brought together a little of everything from the menu. It was just the right portion for two, and every bite was a delight — the raw seafood was fresh, the fried items were light and crispy, and the curry gave us a lovely touch of home. A special thank you to “Naomi (from Switzerland)”, who was the perfect hostess. Her warm recommendations, friendly demeanour, and attentive care made our evening even more memorable. “ Blue cod is one of the best fish in New Zealand, and FINZ does a great job with it. The fish and chips with blue cod was simple and delicious. We liked it so much we ordered it both times we visited. We also tried the baked Southern Lemon Sole, which was really tasty. It’s the same as flounder in other parts of the world. Definitely worth a try if you’re into good seafood. ”
